LOOK || Cotabato Province LTIA-PAC concludes the 2025 LTIA Assessment


The Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Awards (LTIA) Provincial Awards Committee (PAC) has successfully concluded its annual search for the most outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa in the Province of Cotabato. From March 5 to 19, 2025, the committee assessed the entry barangays from all the eighteen (18) Local Government Units (LGUs) of the province, evaluating their efficiency in dispute resolution and adherence to the principles of Katarungang Pambarangay.The LTIA is a distinguished annual program that honors Lupong Tagapamayapa demonstrating excellence in conflict resolution, promoting peace and order, and upholding barangay justice. This initiative not only recognizes their dedication but also encourages best practices in local governance.


To further support their efforts, the winning Lupong Tagapamayapa will receive a cash incentive, which can be used for the barangay’s development programs, projects, and initiatives.
The Cotabato Province LTIA-PAC is composed of representatives from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Prosecutor’s Office, Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) Provincial Chapter, Philippine National Police (PNP), and HAUMAN Association as the Civil Society Organization (CSO) partner.


Following the assessment’s conclusion, the LTIA-PAC will endorse the highest ranking Lupong Tagapamayapa for each category: (A) 1st Class Municipality; (B) 2nd Class Municipality; (C) 3rd Class Municipality; and (D) 1st Class City to represent Cotabato Province at the regional level, continuing its commitment to recognizing excellence in barangay justice.
