The DILG Cotabato Province, under the leadership of Provincial Director Inecita C. Kionisala, proudly stands in solidarity against violence and advocates for women’s empowerment through active participation in the 18-Day Campaign to End VAWC.

On December 12, 2024, Culmination Day, the Team Agila expressed their support by wearing orange shirts and featuring VAW advocacy photos on their social media accounts. The team watched the various advocacy videos to enhance awareness and educate the personnel about the different forms of violence faced by women and children.

The day concluded with all personnel joining the ZumVAW-Free dance, a symbolic activity amplifying women’s voices and addressing the challenges they face.

This year’s theme, “VAW Bigyang-Wakas, Ngayon na ang Oras!” emphasizes a call to action for creating a society where women and children feel empowered and safe. Together, let us continue the fight to end violence against women and children.
